This exhibition (market), one of the oldest of its kind in Italy, with a history half a century long, is part of the antiquarian tradition of Sarzana. This town, with its antique shops facing the old streets in the centre, is considered to be a mecca for all the lovers of this sector. Exhibitors come from different areas of Italy to participate and one can find there the greatest variety of objects: from antique furniture to modern antiques, prints, old books and period accessories.
The warm glow of the evening lights add to evoke a great sense of involvement.
La SOFFITTA nella STRADA
Manifestazione di genere tra le più antiche d'Italia, una storia lunga mezzo secolo, si innesta nella tradizione antiquaria della città di Sarzana che, con le botteghe di antiquariato che si affacciano sulle tipiche stradine del centro, ed è considerata una meta obbligatoria per tutti gli amanti del settore.
Vi partecipano espositori provenienti da diverse zone d'Italia, e vi si trovano gli oggetti più diversi: dai mobili antichi al modernariato, stampe, libri antichi e accessori d'epoca.
Le calde luci della sera creano poi un'atmosfera di grande coinvolgimento.
